Usergroups, Moderators, and a New Admin

There are three basic user groups currently extant other than me, the Administrator:
1. Guests
2. HOD and alliance members
3. HOD leadership

They have access to various threads in escalating order of importance. Guests cannot see all threads, nor post in them. HOD and alliance members can see and post in almost all threads. Leadership have a couple of private threads wherein such topics as policy, promotions, and discipline are discussed.

Sadly, between working full time as a technician and playing as much as I can get away with when I am not working, I cannot take care of everything on this forum. Therefore, I will be appointing new moderators to assist. The first has already been chosen: Banderfoot! Anyone else who is interested, and can convince me they are worthy of being entrusted with post management, can also be elevated to moderator status at my discretion.

Please do keep in mind that, as in the game itself, people who can't be civil will not long remain part of the community. In minor cases this probably means a discussion between myself and Fire/Chevalier as to appropriate discipline, in major cases I reserve the right to simply boot the offender from the forum and possibly the guild as well. So, play nice.
